Dance Video - Tools for Dance Today

Dance video can be enriching for dance instructors and students. Whether you choose dance movies or instructional type dance videos, these tools make a great addition. There are several ways you can incorporate these tools into your learning experience.

As an instructor,you can use video in a corporate classroom setting by using others professional styles to give your students a broader exposure to dance. With some inspiration perhaps your students will get a clearer understanding of your “vision” or the style you are going for in that final performance. While some of your students will learn by listening and watching you, it is always cool to bring new elements to your time with your students.

If you are teaching a complicated choreographed piece, perhaps sending a dance movie home with your students will give them an opportunity to reach peak performance. By practicing at home, they will be able to come to class more prepared.
